His career has spanned assignments in the Delaware Basin\, Anadarko Basin\, Powder River Basin\, DJ Basin\, Uintah Basin\, Bohai Bay China\, deepwater Gulf of Mexico\, Gulf of Mexico\, Norway\, Nigeria and the Bakken holding positions of drilling engineer to drilling manager and back down again. He earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Kansas and an MS in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Texas.
