SUMMARY:General Meeting: Ted Cross\, Deciphering the DJ Basin: A Technical and Comparative Analysis with the Permian
DESCRIPTION:Deciphering the DJ Basin: A Technical Exploration and Comparative Analysis with the Permian \nAbstract: This presentation provides an in-depth analysis of the unconventional Niobrara play in the DJ Basin\, utilizing machine learning models. We will dissect production trends\, activity levels\, and the underlying drivers of production\, providing a nuanced understanding of the interplay between completions design\, lateral lengths\, subsurface conditions\, and well spacing. The insights gleaned will present a detailed portrayal of the play’s dynamics and potential during a time of consolidation. We include a comparative analysis of the Permian as valuable context as both basins advance into their second decade of unconventional production.  \n  \nBio: Ted Cross is Vice President of Product Management at Novi Labs\, an Austin-based oil and gas data analytics company. At Novi\, Ted drives company strategy\, sets the software development roadmap\, and works with engineering and data science teams to build compelling analytics tools. Prior to joining Novi\, Ted worked as a geologist for ConocoPhillips in a range of roles including Williston Basin development\, Lower 48 exploration\, global new ventures\, and deepwater Gulf of Mexico. He received a Master’s in Geology from the University of Arizona\, specializing in thrust belts and foreland basins\, and a Bachelor’s in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin. \nREGISTER HERE\nGROUP TICKET PACKAGE PURCHASE HERE
